Sassy Apple Injection

Injections are a great way to flavor your meat

Ingredients

For a ~8 pound pork butt

  • ½ cup apple juice

  • ¼ cup brown sugar

  • 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

  • 1 teaspoon rub (whatever you are using on the meat)

  • ½ cup chicken stock (optional, sometime I add this, sometimes I don't...)


 

Directions


  1. Combine all the ingredients into a pot and heat on medium until everything dissolves.

  2. Let the injection cool.

  3. Use a good injector and inject the meat.
